2022 Renewable Energy Fair Inaugurated in Cuba

Havana, 22 June 2022. Building a prosperous and sustainable socialism in Cuba is impossible without considering the development of energy from renewable sources, Commander of the Revolution Ramiro Valdes said on Wednesday.

During the inauguration of the 2nd Renewable Energy Fair at the Pabexpo venue until June 24, Valdes said that Cuba’s need to guarantee sufficient access to clean energy is one of the government’s main priorities.

Cuba: people with complete Covid-19 vaccination scheme grows

Havana, 22 June 2022. The Public Health Ministry (Minsap) reported today that 9,970,913 Cubans, representing 90 percent of the population, have the complete vaccination schedule against Covid-19.

According to the Ministry’s website, 10 677,066 citizens received one dose from the national immunizers, 9,414,537 have already received the second vaccine and 9,115,803 have received the third dose.

Cuba ratifies its commitment to nuclear disarmament

Vienna, 21 June 2022. The Minister of Foreign Affairs Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, ratified Cuba's firm commitment to nuclear disarmament, speaking at the opening day of the First Meeting of States of the Treaty on the Prohibition of Weapons Nuclear, which takes place from June 21 to 23 in Vienna, Austria.
