Cuba highlights progress in gender equality and labor rights at the 69th session of the Commission on the Status of Women

This Monday, in the framework of the 69th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW), Osmayda Hernández Beleño, member of the National Secretariat of the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC), participated in an interactive dialogue on "Inclusive Development, Shared Prosperity and Decent Work," where she highlighted Cuba's progress in guaranteeing labor rights and promoting social justice.

International U.S-Cuba Normalization Conference begins in New York

The International U.S.-Cuba Normalization Conference began today in New York City, an important challenge of solidarity in the face of the intensification of the hostile policy of the United States against our country.

This event will bring together activists, representatives of social and political organizations, as well as people interested in the defense of Cuba. The forum will be attended in person and virtually, and will extend throughout the weekend with various activities.

This Thursday, during the afternoon general debate of the 69th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW69), the Second Secretary of the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC), Zonya Rivero López, spoke on behalf of our country.

The Cuban official reaffirmed Cuba's firm commitment to gender equality and the empowerment of women. She highlighted the significant progress made by the country 30 years after the adoption of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action.
