Cuba highlights at the United Nations the important role of Cuban women in the country's scientific development

A commemorative event to mark the 10th anniversary of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science was held this Tuesday at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

Ambassador Daylenis Moreno Guerra, Deputy Representative of Cuba to the United Nations, reiterated the importance of women's effective participation in science and the need to remove the obstacles that prevent their full social inclusion.
