Cuba participates in the United Nations Forum on Financing for Development.

Cuba participates in the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) Forum on Financing for Development, an intergovernmental process with universal participation mandated to review the Addis Agenda and other financing for development outcomes and the means of implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Cuba advocates for a profound reform of the international financial architecture, at UN Forum on Financing for Development.

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Anayansi Rodríguez Camejo, addressed, this afternoon, the general debate of the Economic and Social Council Forum on Financing for Development that sessions this week at the United Nations under the general theme “Embarking on the path toward the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development, FfD4”.

Cuba participates in the Youth Forum of United Nations Economic and Social Council.

Cuba participates in the United Nations Economic and Social Council Youth Forum which takes place at the headquarters of this multilateral organization. The Cuban delegation is composed by Mirthia Brossard, head of the International Relations Department of the National Committee of Young Communists League, and Keyla Estévez, director of the Center for Youth Studies.

Cuba and the United States hold immigration talks in Washington DC.

On April 16, 2024, representatives of Cuba and the United States held bilateral migration talks in Washington DC. The Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Carlos Fernández de Cossío Domínguez, chaired the Cuban delegation and the Deputy Undersecretary of State of the Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs of the State Department, Eric Jacobstein, led the US delegation.
