The Screen Cuba Film Festival returns for its third edition
London, United Kingdom.— Between 15 and 28 March, Cuban cinema will return to British screens with the third edition of ‘Screen Cuba: films to change the world’, a festival organised by the Campaign for Solidarity with Cuba, which is reaffirming its position as a key platform for promoting Cuban cinema in the United Kingdom and strengthening cultural ties between the two countries.
The Cuban Mission in London pays tribute to officers who fell in the line of duty while carrying out their internationalist mission.
London, United Kingdom. — The staff of the Mission of the Republic of Cuba in London gathered today in a solemn ceremony of revolutionary reaffirmation, dedicated to honouring the memory of the 32 brave officers of the Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces (MINFAR) and the Ministry of the Interior (MININT) who lost their lives in the sister Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, victims of a vile and criminal attack by imperialism.
British solidarity defies the blockade
As the last days of the year draw to a close, a vital shipment is crossing the Atlantic. It is not luxury goods, but essential resources: a container with 23 tonnes of powdered milk that will soon arrive at the port of Mariel. It is direct support from British workers to families in the eastern provinces severely affected by Hurricane Melissa last October.
