Cuban Ambassador to the United Kingdom met with the Director General of the International Mobile Satellite Telecommunications Organisation (IMSO)

The Cuban Ambassador to the United Kingdom and Permanent Representative to the International Organisations accredited in London, Her Excellency Ismara Vargas Walter, paid a courtesy call to the headquarters of the International Mobile Satellite Organisation (IMSO) and met with its Director General, Mr. Laurent Parenté. The Ambassador was accompanied by the First Secretary for Trade and Economic Affairs, Soima Méndez Lazo.

Cuba participates in the Go Diving Show

United Kingdom (01/03/2025) - The Cuban tourism office in the United Kingdom participated in the Go Diving Show, held last weekend in the English city of Coventry. With the aim of promoting the attractions of the Cuban archipelago for the practice of diving, Cuba had a stand located in the Caribbean area, where it shared with other countries in the region, consolidating the ties of cooperation and brotherhood.

Belfast, 25 February 2025 - Cuban MP Enrique Alemán Gutiérrez, director of the Cabildo Quisicuaba Project, held an emotional and inspiring meeting with students from Coláiste Feirste, the only secondary school that teaches in Irish in Belfast. During the visit, Alemán was accompanied by Dr Valia Rodríguez, a UK-based Cuban and member of the Cuba Solidarity Campaign in Birmingham.
