Cuba strengthens ties with its nationals living abroad.

Cuba today promotes links with its nationals living abroad and advocates for their increasingly active participation in the socioeconomic processes it is carrying out.

To that end, this weekend it hosted the IV Conference The Nation and Emigration, which gathered in Havana 367 Cubans from 57 countries of all latitudes; a third of them live in the United States.

Cuban music celebrates with another Grammy for Omara Portuondo

Famous Cuban singer Omara Portuondo has just won a Latin Grammy for Best Traditional Tropical Album and the Cuban Institute of Music (ICM) proclaimed that Cuban music is celebrating today.

The institution expressed in its social networks the rejoicing of the recognition, once again, to the diversity and greatness of this cultural expression.

Omara with her album Vida was awarded this Thursday at the 24th edition of the Latin Grammy Awards, in a ceremony held in the Spanish city of Seville.

U.S. church network asks to remove Cuba from terrorist list.

More than 120 Presbyterian churches in the United States signed a letter to President Joe Biden calling for the removal of Cuba from the arbitrary list of sponsors of terrorism because it inflicts suffering on Cubans today.

"Mr. President, you have the power to remove Cuba from the list of State Sponsors of Terrorism. Cuba is not a terrorist country," said the signatories.

I bring from Cuba a message of solidarity and support for the Palestinian people. The indiscriminate attacks against the civil population and the United Nations workers; the bombings against hospitals, ambulances and schools and the mass destruction of housing and vital infrastructure are a collective punishment as well as a serious violation of International Humanitarian Law.

We stand in solidarity with all victims and share the grief of the Arab and Hebrew communities in Cuba.

Cuba receives participants in meeting La Nación y la Emigración.

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel today welcomed the nationals living abroad who will participate in the IV Conference The Nation and Emigration, to be held next 18 and 19.

Cuba opens its arms to its children living abroad who are already beginning to arrive to attend a new "Nation and Emigration" meeting," the president said on the social network X, and affirmed that "those who respect and defend the soil that saw them born and formed them with love will always be welcome".
