Fidel Castro's triumphal entry to Cuba's capital is reenacted.

Representatives of the new generations of Cubans together with veteran combatants of the Rebel Army reenact today the entrance of those troops to this capital in 1959 under the command of Fidel Castro.

The historic event, which took place a few days after the triumph of the guerrilla forces over the tyranny of Fulgencio Batista (1952-1959), allowed the first direct contact of the population with the uniformed revolutionaries and their leader.

Request to Biden, story of friendship and solidarity behind a letter.

A member of the Massachusetts Peace Action Board, Ansara spoke to Prensa Latina about his organization's efforts behind the recent letter sent to Biden by the Massachusetts delegation to the federal Congress.

With satisfaction, he expressed that the result is "part of a campaign initiated eight months ago to unify the state of Massachusetts in calling for Cuba to be removed from the SSOT (State Sponsor of Terrorism).

The call by our representatives in the federal Congress to President Biden is the first step, he said.

U.S. Congressmen ask Biden to remove Cuba from terrorist list.

Democratic congressmen from Massachusetts asked US President Joe Biden to remove Cuba from the list of sponsors of terrorism, a designation issued at the end of Donald Trump's administration, The Hill newspaper reported today.

Members of Congress criticized Trump's inclusion of Cuba in that arbitrary and unilateral list of State Sponsors of Terrorism (SSOT) and urged Biden to revoke it, published Tuesday an article in the newspaper specialized in political and legislative issues.

Cuba ratifies budget priority to Public Health and Education.

Cuba ratified today the priority given to Public Health and Education by approving salary incentives that will benefit almost one million workers in both sectors, government sources said today.

During a televised appearance on the news program Mesa Redonda, the heads and executives of these ministries, and of the Ministry of Finance and Prices (MFP), explained the government's measures to increase income and improve services to these personnel.

Ministers in Cuba argue economic measures to public opinion.

Cuban Public Health and Education authorities will today discuss the salary increases approved by the government for their workers, as part of the economic stimulus measures recently announced in the national parliament.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Planning (MEP), Alejandro Gil, announced the day before on the television program Mesa Redonda, that the heads of the aforementioned ministries, together with union representatives of both unions, will appear on Thursday.
