St George, October 21 - At the headquarters of the Ministry of Climate Resilience, Environment and Renewable Energy (CRE), the Cuban ambassador to Grenada, Ivette Martínez, was received by the Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Peron Johnson, to discuss the implementation paths of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the CRE and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment of Cuba.

Havana, September 20, 2024.- “Your visit is a source of great satisfaction,” said the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, when welcoming Dessima Williams, president of the Senate of Grenada, who is making an official visit to Cuba, at the Palace of the Revolution on Thursday.
The Head of State spoke to the parliamentarian about continuity, history, common struggles and brotherhood. This, said Díaz-Canel, is an opportune moment to continue strengthening relations between our countries.
An atmosphere of deep friendship, solidarity and closeness, as characterizes the close relations of Cuba with the sister nations of the Caribbean, distinguished the meeting on September 17 between the member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Party Esteban Lazo Hernández, president of the National Assembly of People's Power (ANPP) and of the Council of State, and the President of the Senate of Grenada, Dessima Williams, in the National Capitol, institutional headquarters of the supreme body of State power.
St George, September 14. The Ambassador of Cuba in Grenada, Ivette Martínez Leyva, wished success to the President of the Senate, the Honorable Senator Dessima D Williams, who will make an official visit to the Island between September 15 and 20.
At the invitation of the President of the National Assembly of People's Power, Cro Esteban Lazo, Senator Williams will have two days of official meetings, and then participate in the International Seminar for Young Parliamentarians.
