Cuba present in the journey through the Spanish-speaking world of the Kingston Technical High School.

Kingston, April 29, 2026. The Second Secretary of the Embassy of Cuba in Jamaica, Anabel Landrón Ochoa, and the Coordinator of the Educational Brigade in Jamaica, Yoendris Ramírez Figueroa, participated this morning in the Spanish Language Day at Kingston Technical High School. The initiative, promoted by Cuban resident Dayana Webb Wright, had as its central theme “A Journey through the Spanish-Speaking World: Culture, Language, and Tradition.”

From Jamaica, my Signature for the Homeland

Kingston, April 23, 2026. The collective of the Embassy of Cuba in Jamaica and a representation of the State Mission based in Kingston affixed their signature for the Homeland, in support of the call made by the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez and to the Declaration of the Revolutionary Government “Girón is today and is forever.”

Cuban collaborators in the various Jamaican parishes joined this popular movement of deep patriotic and revolutionary character.

Statement of the Jamaica-Cuba Friendship Association on the 65th anniversary of the Victory at Playa Giron.

The words of Fidel, historic leader of the Cuban revolution, whose centennial anniversary of his birth we celebrate this year (2026), echoes and reverberates 65 years ago, when he declared the socialist character of the Cuban revolution, prior to inflicting the first military defeat against US empire in the world, at the Bay of Pigs invasion.

'What the imperialist cannot forgive, is that we are here, that we have made a socialist revolution right under the nose of the United States'
