Health Authorities of Saint Kitts and Nevis and the Cuban Ambassador hold a working meeting.

The meeting, held in a cordial atmosphere, was conducive to reviewing the good state of existing cooperation between both nations, while expressing mutual interest in consolidating and continuing to diversify current ties.

St Kitts and Nevis and Cuba maintain a link in Health matters that dates back to 1996, a relationship that has been strengthened over almost three decades. Today there are 17 Cuban collaborators in the Federation and more than thirty local young people studying at Cuban universities.

Love and solidarity towards Cuba from St. Mary's Anglican Church

The community of Cayon in St Kitts received this Sunday at its Anglican church St Mary's, a representation of the Cuban Alumni Association, which began its calendar of activities for 2025, with a religious service, as is tradition.

From this different scenery, with a load of affection, respect and admiration, we Cubans receive the warmest of hugs this Sunday.

Firmness and Dignity in the Face of the Outrage

On 31 January 2025, Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that he communicated to the U.S. Congress the revocation of the suspension of the possibility of filing lawsuits in U.S. courts under Title III of the Helms-Burton Act.Likewise, it approved the reinstatement of the List of Restricted Cuban Entities, with which entities or persons in the United States are prohibited from carrying out transactions, under penalty of being fined and having their assets frozen. It informed the decision to add the Cuban remittance processing company, Orbit S.A., to that list.

Cuba rejects U.S. decision to incarcerate migrants in the Guantanamo Naval Base

Cuba rejects the decision announced by the President of the United States to use the Guantanamo Naval Base to imprison tens of thousands of migrants he has proposed to forcibly expel. It is a demonstration of the brutality with which that government is acting to supposedly correct problems created by the economic and social conditions of that country, the government's own management and its foreign policy, including hostility towards countries of origin.

The St. Kitts- Nevis Cuban Alumni Association- Statement

The Cuba Alumni Association of St. Kitts and Nevis strongly condemns and rejects the decision that was recently taken by the new US president, Donald Trump to re-include Cuba on the unjust and damaging list of “States Sponsors of Terrorism”.

We, the Cuba Alumni Association stands firmly in solidarity with our Cuban brethren and reiterate our steadfast sincerity and support for the Victorious Cuban Revolution.
