A march for the honor and dignity of the Homeland

Oslo, December 21, 2024. More than 500,000 people, on behalf of the whole Cuba, flooded Havana's Malecon seaside this Friday December 20, in a huge and impressive Combative March, to raise their voices against the blockade imposed by the U.S. government for more than sixty years and the permanence of Cuba on the unilateral, arbitrary and spurious list of State sponsor of terrorism.

The current U.S. administration, which today has exactly one month left in the White House, has done nothing to move away from the line of reinforced blockade and economic suffocation of Cuba that was left as a legacy by the Republican administration that returns to the Oval Office in January.

Cuba calls for preserving Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity

We have followed with great concern the events that have occurred rapidly in the Syrian Arab Republic, which led to the fall of the government of Bashar Al Assad by armed opposition groups.

We make a firm call to preserve the sovereignty, territorial integrity and independence of Syria, as well as to respect the integrity and security of the diplomatic missions based in that Arab nation.

Cuban Ambassador paid a courtesy call to the director general for Regional Affairs of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Oslo, December 4, 2024. The Ambassador of Cuba, Maité Rivero Torres, payed a courtesy call to Signe Brudeset, director general of the Department for Regional Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway.

The Ambassador congratulated the Norwegian diplomat on her recent appointment and expressed the wish to develop a positive working relationship.
