On behalf of the Communist Party of Norway, we express our full solidarity with the Cuban people and government after the intensive earthquakes that struck the country with magnitudes of 6.0 and 6.8, causing landslides and damage to residential areas within the provinces of Santiago de Cuba and Granma, which come in addition to the unfortunate hurricanes that also hit the country recently.
Oslo, November 11, 2024. On behalf of the Cuban people and government, we sincerely thank the Norway-Cuba Friendship Association for donating 8,000.00 Euros to Cuba for the recovery efforts in the wake of the damage caused by Hurricane Oscar in the eastern provinces, in particular Guantanamo.
