Cuban Ambassador to Norway participates in Arendalsuka 2024

The Cuban Ambassador to Norway, Maité Rivero Torres, traveled to Arendal to participate in Arendal Week (Arendalsuka), which is held every year in that coastal town to promote the exchange of members of the government, political parties, organizations, companies, media and other relevant actors of Norwegian society, among them and with ordinary people, on a wide range of topics.

Norwegian organizations paid tribute to Fidel on the occasion of the 98 anniversary of his birth.

Oslo, August 14th, 2024. Norwegian organizations paid tribute to the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz, on the occasion of the 98 anniversary of his birth.

The Norway-Cuba Friendship Association issued the following statement:

Happy birthday, Fidel!

Fidel Castro Ruz was born 98 years ago.

Fidel turned Cuba, a banana republic and mafia clubhouse, into an international force in education, health care, biotechnology and worldwide solidarity.

Cuba's Foreign Ministry denies fabricated reports about participation in Venezuelan elections

Statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba

It is absolutely false that specialists in computer science or other areas have traveled from Cuba to Venezuela, with the purpose of modifying the results of the presidential elections in that country.

This unfounded and fabricated accusation by former Colombian senior official Francisco Santos is not accompanied by evidence, because it does not exist.
