Ambassador of Cuba to Norway exchanges with members of the Board of Directors of InFiL Foundation

Oslo, April 30, 2024. The ambassador of Cuba to Norway, Maité Rivero Torres, had the pleasure to receive several members of the Board of Directors of the InFiL Foundation.

It was a suitable occasion to exchange on the current situation in Cuba, particularly on the effects of the criminal economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States for more than sixty years, which constitutes the main obstacle to the development of the country and affects the living conditions and well-being of the people.

Cuban citizenship granted to a little girl born in Norway to a Cuban mother

Oslo, April 24, 2024. After successfully concluding the procedure established for cases of this nature, the second secretary in charge of Consular Affairs, Daffne Ernesto Mirabal García, presented Maidelis Batista González with the document granting the Cuban citizenship to her beautiful three- year-old daughter Isabella, who was born in Norway.

With visible emotion, Maidelis thanked the assistance provided by the Embassy to achieve this goal, which was of great importance for her and her little girl. (Embassy of Cuba in Norway)

Oslo, April 23, 2024.  Yadira Ledesma Hernández and Jorge San Román Valdés, officials from the General Division for Multilateral Affairs and International Law of the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs, arrived in this city to take part in an international conference on strengthening the protection of civilians from the humanitarian consequences arising from the use of explosive weapons in populated areas.
