Cuban Ambassador to Norway attended the State Opening of the 168th Storting

Oslo, October 4, 2023. Along with her colleagues from the Diplomatic Corps, the Ambassador of Cuba to the Kingdom of Norway, Mrs. Maité Rivero Torres, attended the State Opening of the 168th Storting (Norwegian Parliament).

His Majesty the King Harald V read the Speech from the Throne informing the Storting about the Government´s program for the year ahead, which was handed over to him by the Prime Minister, Jonas Gahr Støre .

Geir Pollestad, member of the Government as minister of Agriculture and Food, had the responsibility of reading the State of the Realm Address.

Promotion of Cuba as a tourist destination in Norway

Oslo, September 29, 2023. Eddy Santos González, new head of the Cuban Tourism Office for the Nordic and Baltic countries, visited Norway these days to make contact with Norwegians travel agencies and tour operators with the aim of promoting Cuba as a tourist destination.

The meetings with representatives of Vilja, Vista Travel and Nordmanns Reiser, as well as with Arne Sundt-Bjerck, coordinator of ANTOR Norway, were very useful.

Statement of the Communist Party of Norway in the wake of the terrorist attack against the Cuban Embassy in USA

The Communist Party of Norway condemns the terrorist attack against the Cuban Embassy in Washington on September 24.

The US must remove the peaceful Cuba from the list of countries that, according to the US, support terrorism!

It is in the United States that this and previous acts of terrorism against the Cuban embassy have taken place. It is the United States who perpetrates terrorism. Lift the US criminal economic blockade against Cuba!

Solidarity with the Cuban people, the Communist Party of Cuba and the Cuban government!

Long live Cuba!
