Oslo, March 17, 2023. Rigoberto Zarza Ross, director for Europe, and Elizabeth Ribalta Rubiera, desk officer of the Northern Europe group, at the Cuban Institute for Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), held a fraternal meeting with several members of the Communist Party of Norway (NKP ), led by Rune Vold, member of the Central Committee and Party leader in Oslo and Akershus.

The delegation of the Cuban Institute for Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) visited the headquarters of the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions (LO), where they held a cordial meeting with Nina Mjøberg, head of the Solidarity Section of the International Department, and Ingunn Tysse Nakkim , counselor in chanrge of Latin America.
Oslo, March 15, 2023. The delegation from the Cuban Institute for Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), made up by Rigoberto Zarza Ross, director for Europe, and Elizabeth Ribalta Rubiera, desk officer at the Northern Europe Group, began its program of activities with a meeting with the president of LO Oslo, Ingunn Gjerstad.
The Cuban visitors received first-hand information on the trade union movement in Norway and the relations of cooperation between LO Oslo and the CTC of Havana.
Oslo, March 13, 2023. The second secretary of the Embassy of Cuba, Daffne Ernesto Mirabal García, took part in a visit to the Norwegian Parliament together with some of his colleagues from the Diplomatic Corps.
They had a very useful exchange with officials from the International Department, who offered them extensive information on the structure, composition and functioning of the legislative body, as well as on its work for the development of Norway´s relations with other countries in the parliamentary field.
Oslo, March 12, 2023. On the occasion of the International Women's Day, celebrated on March 8th, the Embassy of Cuba in Norway received a group of Cuban women living in this country to pay them a well-deserved homage.
The central words were given by Daffne Ernesto Mirabal García, Second Secretary in charge of Consular Affairs, who, after recalling the origin and meaning of the commemoration, conveyed sincere congratulations to all the Cuban women, particularly to those gathered there.
