DECLARATION OF THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF CUBA
The Cuban people and the international community are aware of the dishonest campaign that the government of the United States has launched since 2019 to discredit Cuba’s international medical cooperation; exert pressure on the governments that have asked for it and deprive peoples of these health services.
The Ambassador of Cuba to Ghana, Pedro Luis Despaigne González led the Cuban representation that participated in the Commemorative Day in honor of the 111th birthday anniversary of the founding father of the Ghanaian independence and its first President, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
Ghanaian Dr. Hanna Louisa Bisiw, represented the African continent in the virtual meeting "Solidarity vs. Blockade" sponsored by the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP).
