Successful National Meeting of Cuban Residents in South Africa

On the morning of this November 13, the Annual Meeting of Cuban Residents in the country took place virtually.
Together with officials from the Cuban Embassy, they debated various topics of interest, among which the work of the Consulate with its nationals, the possibility of improving, strengthening and regularizing the meetings, etc.

Eswatini graduates support the Cuban people

The Association of Graduates in Cuba of the Kingdom of Eswatini, held a meeting in conjunction with the Cuban Medical Brigade in that country and the Embassy in which they adopted a Declaration condemning the Blockade and supporting the Cuban people.

At the meeting, the participants reiterated their pride in having graduated in Cuba. They reported that despite the limitations imposed by the United States blockade, they knew the solidarity and nobility of the Cuban people, who share what they have with other people in the midst of difficulties.

Outstanding South African artist expresses solidarity with Cuba

The director of the Joburg Ballet company, Dirk Badenhorst, expressed his deep solidarity with the Cuban people. As excellent, he described the relations of friendship and collaboration that he maintained with the National Ballet School of Cuba and the National Ballet of Cuba, institutions to which he sent a message of gratitude for their support and continued friendship.

The Chargé d'Affaires, a.i from Cuba, Rebeca Hernández, attended an event hosted by the Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa, Dr. Naledi Pandor, who was accompanied by the Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, H.E. Mr.Alvin Botes and other directors of the Department.

South African Teachers Union sends donation to Cuba

The South African Democratic Teachers Union (SADTU) sent a container with humanitarian aid to Cuba.

After the Association of Solidarity with Cuba in the country, (FOCUS) began efforts to send containers with aid to our country amid the difficult conditions imposed by the blockade, intensified in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the South African Democratic Teachers Union (SADTU) to whom we have excellent relations of solidarity, has made hygiene and personal use materials available to the Cuban people for the Ministry of Public Health.
