The Cuban head of mission in Lebanon, Jorge Leon Cruz, received a delegation of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, headed by its representative in Beirut, Ali Faysal, who expressed his condemnation of the terrorist attack perpetrated against the Cuban Embassy in Washington.

The Lebanese Communist Party expressed its solidarity with the Antillean Island in view of the terrorist attack suffered by the Cuban embassy in Washington, last Sunday.

In a message, the secretary of the political organization, Hanna Ghareeb, condemned the attack and underlined his support to Cuba, as a symbol of national and social liberation.

The President of the Lebanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry receives invitation to participate in the 39th edition of the Havana International Fair, FIHAV 2023.

Mr. Mohamed Choucair, president of the Lebanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, received the Cuban head of mission, Jorge Leon Cruz, who handed him a letter of invitation extended by the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Cuba, to participate in the 39th edition of the Havana International Fair, FIHAV 2023, to be held from 6 to 11 November in Cuba.

Lebanon and Cuba advocate the strengthening of their bilateral relations

The head of the Cuban diplomatic mission in Lebanon, Jorge León Cruz, was received by the secretary general of the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Hani Chemaytelli, to whom he handed over a letter from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba addressed to his Lebanese counterpart.

Both parties agreed on the importance of deepening coordination in multilateral events and forums.
