Prensa Latina and Al Mayadeen sign Cooperation Agreement in Lebanon and consolidate a brotherhood at the service of truth

Founded on strategic policies, the Latin American Information Agency Prensa Latina and the pan-Arab channel Al Mayadeen strengthened their brotherhood today in Beirut in defense of the truth and at the service of the people.

The mission of betting on honest journalism for the benefit of humanity was endorsed between the two media, by renewing the cooperation contract for a period of five years.

Lebanese Prime Minister receives the Cuban head of mission

The Prime Minister of the Lebanese Republic, Najib Mikati, received in audience Ambassador Jorge León Cruz, who gave him a letter of invitation to participate in the G-77 plus China Summit to be held in Havana on 15 and 16 September.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed the state of bilateral relations and advocated the strengthening of cooperation between Cuba and Lebanon.

Tribute to Che in Lebanon

A chess tournament is held in Lebanon in homage to Che, in response to the call of the Che Study Centre of Cuba to remember the hero in many corners of the world.

In the presence of the President of the Al Mayadeen Network, Ghassan Ben Jeddou and the head of the Cuban mission in Lebanon, Jorge León Cruz, the pan-Arab channel Al Mayadeen held a chess tournament in homage to the 95th birthday of the heroic guerrilla Ernesto Che Guevara.
