Successful regional meeting of Cubans living in the Bekaa and northern Lebanon

Beirut, November 1, 2021. The regional meeting of Cuban residents in the Bekaa and northern Lebanon was held on Sunday in the historic Bekaa Valley.

At the meeting, the head of consular affairs of the Embassy, Odalys Capote, made a presentation on consular issues of major interest and impact for the Cuban community and presented a summary of the activities carried out with Cubans in the last 2 years. The exchange was conducive to clarify doubts and concerns of Cuban residents.

New Lebanese Chancellor receives Cuban Ambassador

Beirut, October 21, 2021. The new Lebanese Foreign Minister, Abdallah Bou Habib, received this morning, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Cuban Ambassador Alexander Pellicer Moraga, with whom he exchanged on issues of bilateral interest.

The Cuban Ambassador congratulated the Chancellor on his appointment and wished him success in his mission.

During the meeting, both parties ratified the will to continue developing and strengthening the historical ties of friendship between both nations.

Cuban children residing in Lebanon participate in "Cuba Va Conmigo" contest

Beirut, October 4, 2021. Cuban children and teenagers living in Lebanon are taking part in the international visual arts contest Cuba Goes with Me, organized by the National Council of Culture Houses of the Cuban Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Cuban Prime Minister congratulates his Lebanese counterpart on his nomination

Beirut, September 22, 2021. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Cuba, Manuel Marrero Cruz, sent a message of congratulations to his Lebanese counterpart Najib Mikati, on his appointment as Prime Minister of the Lebanese Republic.

In the letter, Marrero Cruz reaffirmed the will of Cuba to continue developing and strengthening the historic relations of friendship and cooperation between the two nations.

Cuban Foreign Minister congratulates his Lebanese counterpart on his appointment

Beirut, September 21, 2021. Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla sent warm congratulations to his Lebanese counterpart, Abdullah Bou Habib, on his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants of the Lebanese Republic.

In the letter, the Cuban Foreign Minister expressed his willingness to continue developing and strengthening the historic relations of friendship and cooperation between the two nations.
