Ambassador of Cuba corroborated the acceptance of Cuban charcoal in Lebanese market

 

The Ambassador of Cuba, Miguel Porto Parga, on a tour in Chtoura, a town in the Bekaa Governorate, visited the "El Cubano" store, which specializes in the sale of marabou charcoal imported from the Cuba. The businessman Ali El Bast, owner of the establishment, explained to the Cuban diplomat the high demand that the Cuban product has among the restaurants in the area, mainly because of its aroma and durability.

Cubans in Lebanon and their families pays homage to Jose Martí

28th January, 2018. Beirut. The 165th Anniversary of the birth of Cuban National Hero José Martí was celebrated at a meeting of Cubans residents in Lebanon and their families at the Cuban Embassy in Beirut.

Despite the persistent rain and cold, several dozen of Cubans and Lebanese came to the headquarters of the Cuban Legation to remember the Apostle. The new Ambassador of the island, Miguel Porto Parga, started the tribute by enhancing the symbolism of Martí as a point of unity and reunion of the Cubans in these latitudes and the consolidation of their roots.

Ambassador Miguel Porto Parga met the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrates of Lebanon

The Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrates, Mr. Hani Chemaitelly, received in his office at Butros Palace the new Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Porto Parga.

The officials discussed the good level of bilateral relations between the two countries and ratified the will of both governments to increase political exchange and economic cooperation.
