Ambassador of Cuba to UNESCO holds meeting with Ambassador of Venezuela and president of GRULAC in the Organization.
Today, the Cuban Ambassador to UNESCO, María del Carmen Herrera Caseiro, held a fruitful meeting with the Venezuelan Ambassador to UNESCO and current President of GRULAC in the Organization. The meeting was conducive to addressing the priorities of the Latin American and Caribbean region in the different areas of UNESCO’s competence, as well as the work that the Group has been doing to advance a common agenda. Both sides agreed on the importance of continuing to strengthen cooperation and joint work within UNESCO, in line with the historic relations of brotherhood between the peoples and governments of Cuba and Venezuela.
