CUBAN AMBASSADOR AND LIBERIAN VICE CHANCELLOR REVIEW BILATERAL ISSUES.

The Honorable Dr. Ibrahim Al-bakri Nyei, Liberian Vice Minister for International Cooperation and Economic Integration at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Monrovia held a fruitful exchange of bilateral issues with the Cuban Ambassador Dr. Indira Lopez Arguelles.

Aspects of mutual interest were revisited in order to strengthen the bilateral ties between both nations

La Embajadora cubana,  Dr. Indira López Argüelles, sostuvo una entrevista de cortesía con el Ministro a.i. de Relaciones Exteriores, Honorable Sr. Cllr. Jeddi Mowbray Armah, quien está al frente de los Asuntos Legales en la cancillería liberiana.

El Excmo. Sr. Armah, agradeció el apoyo de los médicos cubanos durante el ebola y el otorgamiento por parte de Cuba, de becas a esta nación africana. Reiteró el interés de ampliar la cooperación bilateral en diversos campos, revitalizando los tradicionales intercambios que sostuvieron ambas naciones en periodo anterior a la guerra.

MEETING OF THE CUBAN AMBASSADOR WITH ACTING MINISTER OF FOREING AFFAIRS

The Cuban Ambassador, Dr. Indira López Argüelles, held a courtesy interview with Minister A.I. of Foreign Affairs, Honorable Mr. Cllr. Jeddi Mowbray Armah, who is in charge of Legal Affairs at the Liberian Foreign Ministry.

The Hon. Mr. Armah, thanked the support of Cuban doctors during Ebola and the granting by Cuba of scholarships to this African nation. He reiterated the interest in expanding bilateral cooperation in various fields, revitalizing the traditional exchanges that both nations maintained in the pre-war period.

THE AMBASSADOR OF CUBA VISITS THE MINISTRY OF YOUTH AND SPORTS

The Cuban Ambassador in Monrovia, Dr. Indira López Argüelles, visited the headquarters of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, invited by its Minister a.i. J. Bryant McGill.

 

The Honorable Mr. Mcgill in charge of Sports Development issues, explained the projects planned by Liberia to promote athletes, the

importance of sports practice to control juvenile delinquency and the multiple necessities that Monrovia requires in the area of facilities, installment capacities and technicians.

Cuban Ambassador, Indira Lopez Arguelles, together with the Diplomatic and Consular corps in this city attended and pay homage to the military personnel on this 11 February.

After the shining parade, the Liberian government and its people, celebrate on the street this emotive occasion.
