Liberian press highlights the celebration of the VIII Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC).

Monrovia, April 17, 2021.- The Liberian newspaper "Liberia News" highlights in its Saturday edition, the celebration of the VIII Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba.

The referred newspaper of this West African nation points out that Raúl Castro, first secretary of the Central Committee of the PCC, during the presentation of the Central Report, Cuba has preserved important social achievements in education, health and social security, in spite of the intensification of the US embargo against the island.

Liberian Foreign Minister holds meeting with members of the international community accredited to the country.

Monrovia, April 14, 2021 - This afternoon, the Liberian Foreign Minister H.E. Dee Maxwell Saah Kemayah held a fruitful meeting with members of the diplomatic corps accredited to the African country.

In the exchange, where topics of general interest were discussed, the understanding between the parties and the solutions to issues raised by the participants prevailed. The Head of Mission Mercedes L. Martínez Herrera represented Cuba.

Cuban Head of Mission participates in virtual meeting with members of the diplomatic corps of Liberia.

Monrovia, April 9, 2021 - The Head of the Cuban Mission in Monrovia, Mercedes L. Martínez Herrera, participated in a virtual meeting with members of the diplomatic corps of Liberia where the main topic was the update of the internal situation of the African country.

The meeting was convened by the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Monrovia who led the exchange on the most controversial issues of the West African country.

Liberia-Cuba Friendship Group rejects U.S. report on human rights in Cuba.

Monrovia, April 5, 2021.- Our diplomatic mission received the visit of Mr. William Wesseh, directive member of the Liberia-Cuba friendship group and Liberian graduated in the largest of the Antilles.

In their exchange with the head of mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera, both referred to the events in Cuba, a country that the supportive friend considers as his second homeland.
