Liberia-Cuba Friendship Group congratulates OPJM and UJC on their founding anniversaries.

Monrovia, April 3, 2021 - This morning, we received a visit from the directive member of the Liberia-Cuba Friendship Group, Mr. William Wesseh, who was the bearer of a letter of congratulations from the members of the Liberian solidarity organization.

In the letter, the Liberian friends congratulate the Organization of José Martí Pioneers (OPJM) on its 60th anniversary and the Union of Young Communists (UJC) on its 59th anniversary, to be celebrated tomorrow April 4.

Liberia joins worldwide caravan condemning the blockade.

Monrovia, March 27, 2021 - Gathered at the "Tropicana" stage located in Painesville, Montserrado County, with our flag next to the Liberian flag, friends in solidarity condemned the US blockade of Cuba and supported the world caravan for the end of the blockade.

The initiative of the caravan against the US blockade of Cuba was supported today from Liberia, as evidence that solidarity cannot be blocked.

Cuban head of mission meets with Secretary General of the Mano River Union.

Monrovia, March 26, 2021.- The head of the Cuban mission in Liberia Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera held a meeting with Ambassador Medina Wesseh Esq, Secretary General of the Mano River Union, an example organization of economic integration in Africa.

The occasion was propitious to exchange in a cordial and friendly atmosphere on issues of the current Cuban reality and others of mutual interests.

Cuban Embassy in Liberia thanks friends in solidarity for attending the virtual conference "Cuba for Life".

Monrovia, March 25, 2021.- Members of the Liberia-Cuba solidarity group graduated from Cuba followed with attention the virtual conference "Cuba for Life: Experiences in confronting COVID-19" promoted by the "Sao Paulo Forum" as part of the Campaign #BlockadeNoSolidarityYes.

The event was an excellent occasion to note the signs of solidarity of brothers and sisters around the world, and the recognition of our science and health experts for the work they do.
