Port of Spain, April 11th, 2025. Daren Lee Sing, Executive Director of the Trinidad and Tobago Coalition of Services Industries (TTCSI), visited the Embassy of Cuba.
During his visit to the Cuban Embassy, Lee Sing met with Ambassador Gustavo Veliz Olivares and Economic and Commercial Counsellor Julio Cabada. In the course of the cordial exchange, Lee Sing was invited to participate in Expocaribe 2025, to be held in Santiago de Cuba this coming June.

The right to life is in serious danger. The United Nations Charter, International Law, and multilateralism are been threatened. There attempts intending to impose economic coercion and political subversion as methods to establish international relations. This is not only immoral but also illegal.
Port of Spain, February 21, 2025. Counselor Leydis Bernal represented the Cuban Embassy at the Spanish Day celebration held at the "San Juan North" secondary school.
During the event, the Counselor had a fruitful exchange with the students about Cuba, its reality, traditions, and culture. Images of the terrorist actions suffered by our people were shown, as well as the injustice of Cuba's inclusion in the infamous List of State Sponsors of Terrorism. Additionally, the impact of the U.S. blockade measures on the cultural sector was explained.
