The Cuban Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, HE Roberto Blanco Domínguez held a meeting with HE Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy, and HE Dr. Thani Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade. During the meeting, both parties reviewed cooperation projects and the possibilities of increasing them in various sectors.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned in firm and absolute terms the qualification of Cuba as a country sponsor of terrorism by the government of the United States and the inclusion of our country in a list of the State Department. We insist that it is a calumny, an insult against Cuba and that the Secretary of State deliberately lies when describing Cuba as a country sponsor of terrorism.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba condemns, in the strongest and most absolute terms, the fraudulent designation of Cuba as a State that sponsors terrorism which, in a cynical and hypocritical move, has been announced by the government of the United States.
From January 10, 2021, it will be mandatory for all travelers arriving in Cuba from abroad the presentation of the results of a PCR-RT test for SARS Cov-2 from a certified laboratory in the country of origin. The test must be carried out in a period of 72 hours before arrival in Cuba, without prejudice to the sanitary and hygienic measures implemented in the Cuban borders.
Roberto Blanco Domínguez, Cuban Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, had a pleasant meeting with Mohammed Helal Almuhairi, general director of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce, where both parties analyzed various sectors and products of interest to offer, bilateral investments and the trade wide potential.
