THE BAHAMAS, 24 October 2016.- Once again the name of Cuba reached the highest place at the International Cultural Festival of the Bahamas. Under the theme "We are Cuba" our representation managed to captivate the jury and got the Grand Prize among the 26 participating countries. Also, the area of ​​Cuba retained the 1st place in the Caribbean region. For the defense of the subject, the exaltation of the Cuban traditions and the contribution made by Cubans for decades in the Bahamian society were essential.

THE BAHAMAS, 22 October 2016.-The Embassy of Cuba in The Bahamas celebrated the Cuban Culture Day of the at the headquarters of the diplomatic mission in the Caribbean country.

THE BAHAMAS, July 1, 2016. - Yesterday afternoon, at the residence of the Ambassador of Cuba to The Bahamas, Ismara Vargas Walter, held an activity to bid farewell to the 11 Cuban teachers who completed their mission in this Caribbean country.

On this occasion, the activity was attended by the Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of The Bahamas, Hon. Perry Gladstone Christie, who was also accompanied by the Director of Education Lionel Sands, and directors of the Bahamian schools where the Cuban educators work.
