Cuba welcomes the resumption of talks between the Government of Colombia and the ELN 

Declaration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba

Havana, October 4, 2022.- The Government of Colombia derogated the INTERPOL warrants of arrest as well as the notes of international requests for cooperation and alerts issued against the members of the Peace Delegation of the National Liberation Army (ELN, by its Spanish acronym) and cancelled the requests made to Cuba for the extradition of the members of said delegation who were stayed in our country.

Belize to send solidarity donation to Cuba

Havana, Sep 23 (Prensa Latina) Belize´s ambassador in Cuba Lou-Anne Burns said her country really felt the hard feeling of the Matanzas death-dealing fire.

Burns emphasized it´s important for her government and people to say “we are here” with Cuba, even if it is through a symbolic gesture.

The Belize diplomat highlighted the excellent diplomatic relations between both nations, and stressed they are the result of respect and sincere friendship.

Cuba to resubmit resolution against U.S. economic blockade

Havana, Sep 15 (Prensa Latina) Cuba has the right to live without a U.S. economic blockade, Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez said, announcing that in November his country will once again present a draft resolution to put an end to that policy.

Delegation of Belize Water Services makes a working visit to Cuba

Havana, September, 13 2022.- As part of its visit to Cuba, the delegation of Belize Water Services, headed by Mr. Cornelio Acosta, Chairman of the Board of BWS Ltd held a meeting with Alexander Argilagos, President of the OSDE, Integrated management of terrestrial waters (GIAT) from the National Institute of Hydraulic Resources of Cuba. In the meeting they followed-up interest in capacity building and best practices in the management of waters. (Embacuba Belize).
