Cuban Chargé d'Affairs talks with executives of the Liberian newspaper FrontPage Africa.

Monrovia, October 17, 2018- On Wednesday afternoon, members of the management of the Liberian newspaper FrontPage Africa gave a warm welcome to their headquarters to the Chargá d'Affairs of Cuba, Yordenis Despaigne Vera. The communicators Alpha Daffae Senkpeni, the principal sub-editor and Alaskai Johnson, assistant sub-editor, conveyed a message of recognition and respect to Cuba. On the Cuban side was also present the Second Secretary Carmen Maury Toledo.

Port of Spain, October 17. - Invited by the faculty of International Relations of the University of the West Indies (UWI) and the professor of that center Jaquelin La Guardia, Cuban diplomats Ana Martínez Noris and Alex González García, commercial counselor and first secretary respectively, gave a lecture on the Cuban foreign trade and the obstacle represented by the policies of the US blockade against Cuba in the development of the economy of the largest of the Antilles.

The Ambassador Extraordinary Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba in the Republic of Turkmenistan, Alfredo Nieves Portuondo, attended the reception of the National Day celebrated by the Embassy of this Central Asian nation in Baku and exchanged views with the Turkmen ambassador, Mekan Ishanguliyev, on bilateral relations.

Friendship and fraternity have always been in the relations between Cuba and Turkmenistan, said the Cuban diplomat to congratulate the Azerbaijani ambassador on the official reception to mark the 27th anniversary of the country's independence.

Month of hispanic heritage celebration

Toronto, October 15th.- Opening the celebrations of the month of the Hispanic Heritage in Mississauga (GTA), the Living Arts hosted a cultural event that exhibited a large sample of Latin American culture. The program showed dance, culinary, plastic and craft art of Latin American communities settled in Canada.
