Two Cuban dance teachers working successfully in Barbados

Hired by Praise Dance Academy, for the first time two Cuban teachers have been teaching girls and young Barbadians techniques in the modalities of classical ballet and contemporary dance. With a year of fruitful accumulated work, Laura Álvarez teaches classical ballet and has seen how her pupils progress, who in an international inter-school competition in which they recently participated in Havana were finalists. In the other hand, dancer Wendy Ferrer taught a short course in the modality of contemporary dance, during her stay in Barbados invited to participate in the Summer Camp organized by the Academy.

The Cuban Ambassador dialogs with President Erdogan.

Ankara, Turkey, September 31st, 2018. The Cuban ambassador to Turkey, Luis Alberto Amorós Núñez, personally congratulated President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for the 96th anniversary of the August 30 Victory Day in Turkey, during the official ceremony for this occasion, held on the eve in the presidential complex located in the capital of the Eurasian state. On August 30th, 1922, took place a climactic battle that led to the creation of the Republic of Turkey.

Cuba's revolutionary history & the world today - Women role

The Auckland Cuba Friendship Society and the Embassy of Cuba in New Zealand are pleased to host Saimin Fis Abad, Third Secretary of the Cuban Embassy at a public meeting on Sunday, September 16. Saimin will introduce an exchange on Cuba's revolutionary history and Cuba in the world today. She will refer also to the role of Cuban women in society.

Cuban ambassador meets with speaker of the house of representatives of Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, August 30- The Cuban Ambassador to Malaysia, Ibete Fernández Hernández, paid a courtesy call to the President of the Malaysian Parliament (House), Dato Mohamad Ariff bin Md Yusof at the headquarters of the institution that helped identify the ways to strengthen bilateral relations in the parliamentary sector in the near future.
