Cuban film ¨Innocence¨ was presented in Australia

Canberra, August 15, 2022 - The 17th edition of the Latin American Film Festival of Australia presented the Cuban film "Innocence", by director Alejandro Gil, which was very well received by the audience who were able to delve into the tragic events that shook Havana on November 27, 1871.  

Film ¨Innocence¨ will represent Cuba at the Latin American Film Festival of Australia

Canberra, 7 August, 2022.- The Embassy of Cuba was present at the inaugural activity of the 17th edition of the Latin American Film Festival (LAFF) of Australia, which will be held from August 4 to 31 in Canberra.

The Festival is an initiative of the 15 Latin American and Caribbean Embassies accredited in Australia to show their culture and film industry, where they join forces to bring the largest festival of its kind to cities across the country.

Cuba will be represented at the Festival with the award-winning film ¨Innocence¨, by filmmaker Alejandro Gil.  

National Rebellion Day ¨26th of July¨ commemorated in Canberra

Canberra, July 30, 2022- The National Rebellion Day was commemorated in Canberra at the Cuban embassy headquarters, an activity attended by members of the Australia-Cuba Friendship Society (ACFS), friends in solidarity and representatives of the sisterly Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
