Conga cubana opens the Latino Carnival in Viena

Cuban artists living in Austria staged a conga and colorful comparsa in the traditional stop that, as every year, leaves the Latin Carnival inaugurated that runs through the main streets of downtown Vienna.

Summoned by the popular Danzón dance hall of this city, the Cuban conga made the temperature rise in the usual cold Viennese atmosphere and dragged thousands of passersby after the overwhelming pace of the comparsa.

Dr. Ludovic Ferriérre, Curator of the Meteorite Collection and Head of the Department of Mineralogy of the Museum, turned out to be a luxury host to get to know the exhibition and the interesting scientific work done in this prestigious institution.

The meteorite collection that is exhibited in the Museum, with more than 1,100 rocks, is the oldest and most extensive in the world.
