TRIBUTE TO FIDEL CASTRO IN THE AUTONOMOUS REGION OF AZERBAIJAN
The leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz, was honored at the State University of the Autonomous Republic of Nakhichevan, Azerbaijan, on the first anniversary of his physical disappearance, diplomatic sources reported.
The faculties of International Relations and Foreign Languages of the aforementioned house of high studies participated in a conference given by the ambassador of Cuba in this Caucasian nation, Alfredo Nieves Portuondo, about the historical leader of the Cuban revolutionary process.

The Ambassador of Cuba in the Republic of Azerbaijan, Alfredo Nieves Portuondo, made a working visit to the State University of the Autonomous Republic of Nakhichevan, Azerbaijan, where he assessed the possibilities of collaboration of this center of higher education with academic institutions in Cuba.
On the university campus, the Cuban diplomat was received by his rector, Doctor in Biological Sciences, Maharramov Saleh Heidar Oghlu, with whom he addressed future cooperation and exchange with universities on the island.
OMMEMORATE IN AZERBAIJAN ANNIVERSARY 50 OF THE CHE FALL
Azerbaijani young people paid tribute to the legacy of Ernesto Che Guevara on the 50th anniversary of his fall in combat, in a meeting held between members of the New Azerbaijan youth organization with the Cuban ambassador in Baku, Alfredo Nieves Portuondo.
In the tribute, the Cuban diplomat stressed that Che is a paradigm for many young people in the world who fight for dignity and human dignity.
AZERI MUSEUM PRESENTS EXHIBITION ABOUT FIDEL CASTRO
The Museum of Miniature Books located in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, dedicates its biannual exhibition to the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz, diplomatic sources said today in this capital.
The cultural institution, the only one of its kind in the world, highlights in its central showcase copies of the biography of Fidel and his work The History Will Absolve Me, which presents a program of revolutionary development.
