Today, the government of the United States announced several measures, which are positive but of a very limited scope, regarding Cuba associated to the granting of visas, regular migration, flights to Cuban provinces, remittances and adjustments to the regulations governing transactions with the non-state sector.
Cuba: The legitimate right to sustainable development will only be possible with a new just and equitable world order.

Havana, May 8 (ACN) Miguel Díaz-Canel, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and president of the Republic, thanked those who, from different latitudes, expressed their support and solidarity after the accident that took place this Friday, May 6, at the Saratoga Hotel in Havana.
Countries and personalities who are friends of Cuba continue to express their condolences and support to the Cuban government and the families of the victims of the accident that resulted in more than thirty deaths and dozens of injured.
New Ambassador of Cuba to The Bahamas presents Copies of the Letters of Credence.
The new designated Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, Julio César González Marchante, presented his Style Copies before the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alfred Michael Sears, Minister of Labor and Utilities.
The Minister warmly welcomed the Cuban diplomat and congratulated him on his appointment as the new Head of Mission in The Bahamas.
