Tribute to the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution in Montreal
A tribute to the life and work of the Commander in Chief, Fidel Castro Ruz, was held in the city of Montreal on the seventh anniversary of his physical departure.
The evening was organized by friends in solidarity with Cuba, belonging to the Table de Concertation de Solidarité Quebec-Cuba, the Marxist-Leninist Party and the Young Communist League. The meeting was attended by Susana Malmierca Benítez, Consul General of Cuba in Montreal.

The Consulate General of Cuba in Toronto held an emotional tribute to the legacy of our Commander in Chief, Fidel Castro Ruz, on the seventh anniversary of his passing.
The event was attended by the president of the Palestine House in Toronto, members of the Young Communist League, the Canadian Network on Cuba, the Juan Gualberto Gómez Association of Cuban Residents, The Latin American and Caribbean Solidarity Network, among other organizations and intellectuals who are friends of Cuba.

On the seventh anniversary of the passing to immortality of the Commander in Chief Fidel Castro, the staff of the Cuban Embassy in Canada paid a heartfelt tribute to the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution.
The event was attended by members of Canadian solidarity organizations on Cuba, the Communist Party of Canada and the Communist Party of Canada (Marxist-Leninist), who expressed their admiration for the Cuban leader and addressed his legacy to the entire world.

A delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education of Cuba composed of the General Director of Scientific Research and Postgraduate Studies, Ondina León Díaz, PhD, and the Head of the Multilateral Affairs Department, Maiky Díaz Pérez, PhD, accompanied by the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in Canada, Héctor Igarza, and officials from the Cuban Embassy,held a meeting at the University of Ottawa with Dr. Peter Szyslo, from the International and Francophone Office, and Dr. Prof. Luis Abanto.
