Meeting of the Ambassador of Cuba to Canada, Rodrigo Malmierca with members of the Cuban community in Toronto

At the Consulate General of Cuba in Toronto, the Ambassador-designate of Cuba to Canada, Rodrigo Malmierca, was received by a representation of the Cuban community residing in that city, among them members of the Association of Cubans Juan Gualberto Gómez.
 
The scenario was propitious to exchange on the current situation in our country and on the interests and concerns of the Cuban community, especially highlighted the willingness of our government to continue advancing in the consolidation of ties with our compatriots abroad.
 

Meeting of Cuban Ambassador to Canada Rodrigo Malmierca with members of solidarity organizations in Toronto

The Cuban Ambassador to Canada, Rodrigo Malmierca, held a fruitful meeting with representatives of solidarity organizations with our country, at the Consulate General in Toronto.

During the meeting, the Cuban diplomat offered extensive information on the current situation of our country and denounced the constant campaign of disinformation and manipulation of the Cuban reality, as well as the use of social networks by the U.S. government and its agencies of political operators, in order to achieve internal destabilization.

Meeting with Deputy Minister of International Relations and La Francophonie of Québec

The Consul General of Cuba in Montreal, Susana Malmierca Benitez visited the headquarters of the Ministry of International Relations and La Francophonie of Quebec, where she had a cordial meeting with Deputy Minister Alain Sans Cartier.

The meeting was propitious to exchange on the state of Quebec-Cuba relations.

During the meeting, they reiterated their firm commitment to continue working together on existing collaboration projects and to continue the search for new areas of cooperation and exchange.

Visit to the Lieutenant Governor of Quebec

The Consul General of Cuba in Montreal, Susana Malmierca Benitez paid a courtesy visit to the Lieutenant Governor of Quebec, the Honorable Manon Jeannotte.

The occasion was propitious to exchange on the development of women in Cuba and the results achieved by our country in this area were recognized.  

During the meeting, the impact of the U.S. blockade on Cuban society was denounced. In addition, they exchanged on the cultural events in the Caribbean nation for the Francophonie Month.

Meeting of the Caribbean Consular Corps accredited at the Consulate General of Cuba in Toronto

This afternoon, a meeting of the Caribbean Consular Corps accredited in this city was held at the Consulate General of Cuba in Toronto.
During the meeting, a broad agenda was completed which included, among the main topics, the follow-up of the agreements reached in the meetings with the Minister of Labor and the Executive Director of the Skilled Trades Ontario agency; the planning of future joint actions; and the welcome to the new representatives of St. Kitts and Nevis, Jamaica, Grenada and Guyana.
