Meeting with members of the solidarity in New Brunswick

The Consul General of Cuba in Montreal, Susana Malmierca received a warm welcome during a meeting with members of the Communist Party of Canada and other friends of Cuba in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

At the meeting, there was an exchange of views on the main advances in legislative matters in Cuba, as well as in the health sector. The criminal economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States and the inclusion of the island in the arbitrary list of state sponsors of terrorism were condemned.

Forum "The struggle against the blockade on Cuba in presenttimes" is held in Toronto

Members of the publishing house of the Canadian Communist Party´s official newspaper, People's Voice, held a forum at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto entitled "The struggle against the blockade on Cuba in present times", in which the history, evolution and impact of the U.S. blockade on the Cuban people and the worldwide struggle for its lifting were analyzed. 

Meeting with the Lieutenant Governor of New Brunswick

On an official visit to New Brunswick, the Consul General in Montreal, Susana Malmierca, paid a courtesy call on the Lieutenant Governor of the province, the Honorable Brenda L. Murphy. 

During the meeting, the Consul General recorded in the Lieutenant Governor's guest book her appreciation for the warm welcome to the province and emphasized her satisfaction to continue working to strengthen the ties between Cuba and New Brunswick.
