Kuala Lumpur, April 24, 2025 – In a solemn ceremony held at the Istana Negara National Palace, Cuban Ambassador Yadira Ledesma Hernández presented His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, with the Letters of Credence accrediting her as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to Malaysia.

This Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is the rector of the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Program (MTCP), which, together with the Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Affairs and numerous universities and institutions from the public and private sectors in Malaysia, promotes human resource training.
Kuala Lumpur, April 22, 2025. Malaysian doctors who graduated in Cuba sent a letter to the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) to express their gratitude and admiration for the humanitarian work of Cuban medical cooperation.
In the letter, they expressed their sincere appreciation, describing as "extraordinary the humanitarian work carried out by Cuban medical brigades around the world."
Kuala Lumpur, April 15, 2025. The Cuban Embassy paid heartfelt tribute to His Excellency Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi at the National Mosque, along with the authorities and people of Malaysia.
As Prime Minister, Badawi visited Cuba twice: in 2004 and 2006, although he had previously visited the country in 1998 as Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Tehran, April 4, 2025. Cuban children celebrated with joy and patriotism on April 4, the 64th and 63rd anniversaries of the José Martí Pioneers Organization (OPJM) and the UJC.

The concert, held on 16 March at the prestigious London Sketch Club, featured an outstanding performance by the renowned classical guitarist Nikos Baroutsakis, of Greek origin, who captivated the audience with a repertoire dedicated to the richness of Cuban music.
