Azerbaijani young people paid tribute to the legacy of Ernesto Che Guevara on the 50th anniversary of his fall in combat, in a meeting held between members of the New Azerbaijan youth organization with the Cuban ambassador in Baku, Alfredo Nieves Portuondo.
In the tribute, the Cuban diplomat stressed that Che is a paradigm for many young people in the world who fight for dignity and human dignity.

Apia, 8 September 2017. - On the occasion of the 48th Pacific Islands Forum held in Samoa, the director general for Bilateral Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Gerardo Peñalver Portal, confirmed the commitment of Cuba to continue pushing forward cooperation with Small Island Developing States in this region.
In its 2017 edition, the Embassy Festival gathered members from 43 diplomatic representations, 30 artists from several countries and genres. It is estimated that around 35 thousands visitors attended this faur, one of the most succesful ones in the last few years.
The main purpose of this network is to build and expand medical collaboration between Cuba and the Netherlands on the basis of respect to human dignity and equality, and other principles such as solidarity, prevention of diseases and the promotion of health care.
