Trade delegation from Jamaica to participated at FIVAH 2016

KINGSTON, JAMAICA, October 11, 2016. Ambassador of Cuba to Jamaica, Bernardo Guanche Hernandez, met with members of this country’s trade delegation to the upcoming International Fair of Havana 2016 FIHAV 2016.

The fruitful meeting, held at the venue of the Jamaica Promotions Corporation (JAMPRO), was also presided over by Berletta Forrester, General Manager of Commercial Development at this important institution from the Ministry of Economic Growth and Job Creation.

Iraq and its people admire the resistance of Cuba and its revolution

The Ambassador of Iraq in Tehran, Rageh Al-Musawi, paid a courtesy visit to his Cuban counterpart, Vladimir González Quesada, to reciprocate the visit made him the latter on October 4th, in his Embassy.

Al-Musawi expressed appreciation for the warm reception from Gonzalez, who is also non-resident ambassador in Baghdad.

Prime Minister of Jamaica demands the end of blockade against Cuba

KINGSTON, JAMAICA, October 7th 2016. Prime Minister of Jamaica, the Most Honourable Andrew J. Holness demanded the end of blockade the United States imposes against cuba, during his address to the 71st period of sessions of the United Nations General ASsembly, in New York.

“Jamaica realizes that the continuation of the economic embargo against our sister Caribbean country, Cuba, is out of step with recent actions to re-establish diplomatic relations between Cuba and the United States. We therefore call for its early lifting”, stated the Prime Minister.

Ambassador of Cuba visits the 9th Festival and Exhibition Nano Iran

The diplomatic corps in Tehran were invited to visit the 9th Festival and Exhibition of Nanotechnology of Iran (Nano Iran) organized by the Iran Nanotechnology Initiative Council (INIC). It is taking place from 5 to 8 October at the International Permanent Fairground. Cuba was represented by Ambassador Vladimir González Quesada.
