Martinez Herrera received with great satisfaction the Liberian engineer William Wesseh, graduated in Cuba in the specialty of Electromedicine, who had an interesting exchange with the Cuban diplomat on behalf of the Liberian graduates in the Greater of the Antilles.

Martinez Herrera, visited the headquarters of the Cuban Embassy in the West African country.
Monrovia, January 12, 2022.- In the afternoon our diplomatic headquarters in Monrovia, was honored with the visit of the Chief Coordinator of the Office of the Vice President of Liberia Mr. Moses Mooney, who was received by the Cuban Chief of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera.
Both officials had an interesting and important exchange where the interest of both parties in strengthening the ties between both nations was confirmed, and mutual understanding and respect prevailed.
Monrovia, January 10, 2022 - The Assistant Minister for American Affairs of the Liberian Foreign Ministry, Honorable Maxwell P. Vah visited the headquarters of the Cuban Embassy in this country where he was received by its Chief of Mission.
The main theme of his visit was to convey to the Cuban government his gratitude for its unconditional support to his country and to reaffirm the Liberian government's commitment to continue working for the prosperity of both peoples.
Monrovia, January 6, 2022.- It was a great honor for the Cuban Embassy in Liberia to receive the visit of the President of the Liberia-Cuba Friendship Association Mr. Kesselee King Kanneh.
The occasion was an opportunity to exchange on current issues of interest, recent actions in support of Cuba and future plans of the friendship group.
Monrovia, October 11, 2021 - In the early hours of the morning, Cuba's head of mission in Liberia, Mercedes L. Martínez Herrera, was received by Liberian diplomat Lahai A. Koazolu, assistant to the deputy minister for American Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the African country.
Both diplomats analyzed bilateral and multilateral issues of interest to both nations.
Monrovia, October 7, 2021 - The VII African Continental Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba brought together friendly voices of the Greater Antilles and in rejection of the hostile U.S. policy.
Liberian friends, together with the Cuban Embassy, actively participated in the virtual event of solidarity with the Caribbean Island.
The VII African Continental Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba will gather friendly voices of the Caribbean nation and in rejection to the hostile policy of the United States.
The event, organized by the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), has among its objectives to strengthen ties between the African continent and our country.
It will pay tribute to the historic leader of the Revolution Fidel Castro and Ernesto Che Guevara, internationalist symbols in the struggles for the independence of the peoples of the African continent.
