From Liberia the support and solidarity with the people and government of Cuba.

Monrovia, July 20, 2021 - Liberians who graduated in Cuba, land that turned them into good men and women, expressed that Cuba is not alone.

They reaffirmed their support to the homeland of Commander Fidel Castro, an example of solidarity and internationalism, and made public their denunciation of the destabilizing attempts coordinated by the United States, which took place in Cuba last July 11.

Monrovia, July 19, 2021 - The Liberia-Cuba Friendship group expressed its support for the people and government of Cuba at a time when attempts to strangle and destabilize the Cuban revolution are on the rise.

It condemned the riots that took place on July 11 as a result of an intense political operation financed by Washington to create instability in Cuba at a time of difficult conditions caused by COVID-19 and the tightening of the economic, commercial and financial blockade.

Staff of the Cuban Embassy in Liberia remembers Mandela on the 103rd anniversary of his birth.

Monrovia, July 18, 2021 - On the occasion of the 103rd anniversary of the birth of South African leader Nelson Mandela, the Cuban diplomatic mission in Liberia paid tribute to this universal symbol of peace, at a time when we have to rescue the example of his figure in the fight against all types of discrimination.

Congratulatory messages are sent to the Cuban Embassy in Liberia on the results of the vote at the United Nations.

Monrovia, June 24, 2021 - Since early this morning, our diplomatic mission in Monrovia has been receiving congratulatory messages from friends of Cuba and connoisseurs of the Cuban reality.

Through telephone calls, messages and letters, they congratulate Cuba for the results obtained yesterday in the vote on the Cuban draft resolution: "Necessity of putting an end to the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States of America against Cuba".

Monrovia, June 23, 2021 - The "Daily Observer" newspaper, one of the most widely read Liberian newspapers in the country, published an extensive and positive article on the vote that will take place today at the United Nations on the Cuban Resolution against the U.S. Blockade.

The article develops the topic based on an interview made yesterday to the head of the Cuban Mission in that West African country Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera where she exposed the losses caused to her country and the damages caused to the Cuban people.

Liberia-Cuba Friendship Group joins the Cuban Embassy collective in Monrovia to denounce the US blockade against the island.

Monrovia, June 17, 2021 - Members of the Liberia-Cuba Friendship Group and the Cuban Embassy collective in this West African country joined their voices and through the virtual event "Solidarity vs. Blockade" denounced the US political subversion and blockade of the largest of the Antilles.

Cuban Head of Mission holds friendly meeting with president of the Liberia-Cuba solidarity group.

Monrovia, June 10, 2021 - A friendly meeting was held today between the Cuban head of mission Mercedes L. Martínez Herrera and the president of the Liberia-Cuba solidarity group Mr. Kesselee King Kanneh.

During the meeting, the Cuban diplomat informed the head of the solidarity group in the African country about the celebration of a new virtual event Solidarity vs. Blockade and thanked the members of the friendship association for their firm support to Cuba against the blockade, aggressions and media manipulation.

Vice President of Liberia Jewel Howard Taylor visits Cuban Embassy in Monrovia.

Monrovia, June 7, 2021 - Today at our Cuban Embassy in Liberia, we welcomed the visit of the Vice President of the Republic of Liberia, Her Excellency Dr. Jewel Cianeh Howard-Taylor, who was received by the Chief of Mission Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera.

The Liberian vice-president expressed her joy at being able to complete the visit she had wanted to make to our diplomatic headquarters since last year and expressed her pleasure at reciprocating the visit that the Head of the Cuban Mission had paid her in April.

Cuba and South Africa hold virtual exchange in greeting to the 27th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations

Pretoria, June 3rd, 2021.- The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, and the Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of South Africa, Her Excellency Dr. Naledi Pandor, held a virtual exchange on Thursday at the framework of the excellent relations that both nations share.
