Cuban Ambassador visits the University of Gambia
Banjul, June 13, 2018.- The Ambassador of Cuba in Banjul, Lázaro Herrera Martínez, visited the University of The Gambia where he was received by Professor Dr. Faqir Muhammad Anjum, Rector of the high school, with whom he supported a fruitful exchange.

The newly elected mayoress of Banjul, Rohey Malick Lowe welcomed the Cuban ambassador, Lázaro Herrera, at her City Council´s office in Banjul, where they held a fraternal exchange. In a cordial and friendly atmosphere, the Cuban diplomat congratulated mayoress Malick Lowe for her election as head of City Hall and for being the first woman to hold this responsibility in The Gambia.

Banjul, May 3, 2018.- A warm welcome was granted to the Cuban ambassador in the Gambia, Lázaro Herrera during his visit to The Standard newspaper, where he was received by its Chief Editor, Lamin Cham. The ambassador of Cuba in The Gambia, Lázaro Herrera, visited Foroyaa newspaper's headquarters, one of the main newspapers of the African nation where he held a cordial exchange with its Managing Editor, Samuel Osseh Saar.
The visit of the Cuban diplomat occurs within the framework of the efforts to strengthen the links of the embassy with the Gambian media as a way to promote greater knowledge about the island in The Gambia.
Director of Radio and TV Services of The Gambia visits the Embassy of Cuba
Ebrima Sillah, General Director of the Radio and Television Services of The Gambia (GRTS) visited the Cuban Embassy in Banjul, invited by the Cuban ambassador Lazaro Herrera. The visit reciprocated the one paid days before by the Cuban diplomat to GRTS headquarter, in which occasion both held a cordial exchange and the host took the visitor on a tour through the facilities of the channel.
