Saint George, January 19, 2022.- The Cuban Ambassador made a courtesy call to Hon. Alvin Da Breo, Minister of Trade, Industry and Consumer Affairs of Grenada.
During the visit the agreements which stemmed from his 2020 visit to Cuba were revised.
The Minister expressed his interest in visiting Santiago de Cuba on his next visit to our country.

Saint George, January 18, 2022.- The Cuban Ambassador attended the State Funeral of the former Governor General of Grenada, Carlyle Glean, at the St. Peter´s Catholic Church, Gouave, St. John.
Sir Carlyle will be remembered for his lifelong service to Education in Grenada and the Caribbean, most especially, in the teaching of Social Studies.
He was a member of the Upper House of Parliament with his final call of service to country, in the role as the fifth Governor General serving from 2008 to 2013.
The Cuban Ambassador made a courtesy call to Minister Turism and Civil Aviation.
Saint George, January 18, 2022.- The Cuban Ambassador made a courtesy call to Hon. Dr. Clarice Modeste-Curwen, Minister Tourism and Civil Aviation. During the visit the agreements which stemmed from her 2020 visit to Cuba were revised.
They also evaluated the possibility of establishing collaboration for the restoration of buildings and heritage sites in Granada.
The Minister was interested in knowing details of the FITCUBA, Tourism Fair that will take place from 3 to 7 of May in Varadero.

Díaz-Canel: May unity, respect and love of life never be lacking among Cubans
Havana, july 14, 2021.- During a meeting of the COVID-19 prevention and control national task force yesterday afternoon, the First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, called for "the unity of Cubans, and respect among Cubans, freeing ourselves of any feelings of hatred, while demanding compliance with the norms that guarantee social tranquility in our society."
Also in attendance were Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz and the President of the National Assembly of People’s Power, Esteban Lazo Hernández.
