Lebanese Communist Party stands in solidarity with Cuba and rejects U.S. interference

Beirut, November 15, 2021. The Lebanese Communist Party today condemned all foreign interference in Cuba and the blockade imposed by the United States on it, according to a message sent to Prensa Latina. The note also reaffirms solidarity with the Communist Party of Cuba in its struggle for progress, liberation and socialism.

Despite the U.S. policy of encirclement, Cuba has achieved progress in health, education, quality of life and scientific research at the service of its people and the world, the text refers.

Palestinian youth in Lebanon express their support for Cuba

Beirut, November 14, 2021. The Palestinian Democratic Youth Union today reiterated its support for Cuba in the face of the U.S. government's hostility, during a ceremony at the Mar Elias (St. Elias) refugee camp in Lebanon.

The president of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, Ali Faisal, stated that the Caribbean nation is not alone in the face of Washington's attempts to create chaos and destabilization.

Cuban Embassy in Lebanon awards medical scholarships to 12 young Palestinians

Beirut, November 13, 2021. In a simple but moving ceremony, the Cuban Embassy in Lebanon awarded medical scholarships to 12 young Palestinians who will soon leave for Cuba to begin their studies.

The Cuban Ambassador, Alexander Pellicer Moraga, congratulated the students and wished them success in their studies, while urging them to take advantage of this opportunity that Cuba offers them and become good men so that in the future they can help their heroic Palestinian people.

Lebanese and Palestinian personalities express support for Cuba

Beirut, November 12, 2021. Intellectuals, politicians and trade unionists from Lebanon and Palestine expressed their support for Cuba in the face of US plans to destabilize the Caribbean nation, Prensa Latina learned today from diplomatic sources.

The heterogeneous group formed by 35 Lebanese and Palestinian personalities adhered to the Cuban people's rejection of the counterrevolutionary movement with which Washington is putting into practice its so-called soft coup strategy.
