Cuban Ambassador participates in meeting of Lebanese journalists and media against the blockade
Beirut, September 9, 2021. The Cuban Ambassador, Alexander Pellicer Moraga, participated in a meeting of Lebanese journalists and media against the blockades and sanctions imposed today by the United States against sovereign and independent countries of the world, including Cuba.
The event condemned the aggressive policy and the system of illegal and genocidal sanctions imposed by Washington, unilaterally, against countries that do not submit to its designs and defend nationalist positions in favor of their peoples.

The reports highlight that Cuba, with a population of 11.2 million, aims to vaccinate all its children before reopening its schools, which have been closed, almost uninterruptedly, since March 2020.
