During the meeting, the relevance of Martí's ideology was highlighted, his anti-imperialism, anti-annexationism, independence movement, and his foresight regarding the dangers that the imperial ambitions of the United States represented for Cuba and all the lands of America.

The Hague, January 14, 2026. In an emotional vigil held yesterday afternoon at the Cuban Embassy in the Netherlands, we paid posthumous tribute to the 32 Cuban combatants who fell in the criminal aggression and act of state terrorism perpetrated by the United States against Venezuela.

Members of various left-wing organizations and groups in solidarity with Cuba highlighted the heroism of the fallen and evoked the leadership and relevance of the thinking of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.
