The United States' aggression against Iran must stop

Statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba.

The threat of direct aggression by the United States against the Islamic Republic of Iran, encouraged by the genocidal government of Israel, became a reality after the cowardly bombings of the nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.

Cuba strongly condemns these serious acts, which constitute a dangerous escalation of the conflict in the Middle East and a flagrant violation of the UN Charter and international law.

Prominent Cuban scientists are received by Iran's Minister of Health

Tehran, May 26, 2025. Cuban doctors Vicente Vérez and Yuri Valdés, directors of the Finlay Vaccine Institute (IFV), were received by the Minister of Health of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Mohammad Reza Zafarghandi, at the headquarters of that ministry in the Iranian capital. Both relevant Cuban scientists were accompanied by the Cuban ambassador to this country, Jorge F. Lefebre Nicolás.

Cuban representative participates in the fourth edition of the Tehran Dialogue Forum

Tehran, May 19, 2025. The director of the Center for Hemispheric and U.S. Studies (CEHSEU) at the University of Havana, Raúl Rodríguez, participated in the IV Tehran Dialogue Forum, held in Tehran from May 18 to 19, 2025, which was attended by more than 200 delegations from 53 countries, including several foreign ministers and high-ranking officials from those nations.
