A delegation of the General Customs of the Republic of Cuba (GCR), headed by its chief, Nelson Cordovés Reyes, fulfilled a work agenda in Vietnam between November 10 and 14.
The Cuban delegation exchanged with the General Director of the Vietnam General Department of Customs, Nguyen Van Can, about the state and prospects of cooperation between the two institutions, based on the Memorandum signed in 2013.
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. November 14, 2019. The Hon. Ms. Amarjargal Yandam, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Health of Mongolia was received at the Cuban diplomatic mission in Ulaanbaatar by the Ambassador of Cuba Raúl Delgado Concepción. Pretoria, November 13, 2019.-Doctors María del Carmen Pérez, General Director of the Entity of Science, Technology and Innovation (ECTI) “Sierra Maestra” and Concepción Campa, Director of the National Moringa Program, represented Cuba in the second International Symposium on Moringa that had place from November 10 to 13 in South Africa.
After concluding the event, they held a meeting at the diplomatic headquarters of Cuba, in which a representation of the members of the State Mission in South Africa led by Ambassador Rodolfo Benitez Verson participated.
On the occasion of commemorating the 15th anniversary of the death of the Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat, the Ambassador of Cuba in Egypt Tania Aguiar Fernández took part in a seminar dedicated to the validity of his thinking, where a documentary about his figure was also projected and was organized by the Al Fatah Regional Office.
The seminar was also attended by Mr. Mohamed Kedwa, who was Governor of Gaza between 1998-2014 and a personal friend of Yasser Arafat, whom he accompanied on visits to Cuba and held meetings with Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.
The call to the II Culinary Workshop Cuba Sabe was delivered on this day to the top executive of the Culinary Association of Azerbaijan.
In a meeting held in Baku, the Cuban ambassador Alfredo Nieves Portuondo and the consul, Alina Quesada Rodríguez, invited the executive director, Farkhad Ashurbeyli, the director of international relations, Rufat Aliyarov, and all members of the association, to participate in this event gastronomic to be held in Havana from January 9 to 11, 2020.

Wellington, November 12th, 2019. The new Ambassador of Cuba to New Zealand, Edgardo Valdés López, presented credentials to H.E. the Right Honorable Dame Patsy Reddy, Governor-General, after a traditional Maori welcome ceremony.
The meeting was conducive to highlight the good state of bilateral relations and the coincidences between Cuba and New Zealand regarding the concern for the well-being of their peoples, peace, multilateralism, the environment and other values and principles that unite them.
