CUBA, June 11th, 2019. - The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, will begin a tour to Caribbean countries on Tuesday, which will run until June 18th.

The journey includes the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Saint Lucia, the Cooperative Republic of Guyana and Barbados.

Message of solidarity from Zambia to Cuba

The activation of Title III of the Helms-Burton law by the current president of the United States is absurd both in its nature and intentions. Any action (legal or otherwise) that is meant to intimidate the economic partners of the Cuban people is wrong and immoral.

Auckland.-  On the afternoon of Friday, June 7th, members of the Cuba Friendship Society in Auckland held a protest in front of the consulate General of the United States in that city, to condemn the new measures announced by Washington, which reinforce the economic, commercial and financial blockade and are part of the recent escalation of this American administration against the Caribbean nation.

Kuala Lumpur, June 10 - Dr. Chandra Muzaffar, president of the non-governmental organization JUST, spoke here against the Helms Burton Act.

In his article he emphasizes that it would be a mistake to see Title III alone or as nothing more than a part of the Helms-Burton Act and should be evaluated in the context of sanctions against Cuba applied since 1961, USA. UU only for our country chose in 1959 its own path of development inspired by socialist ideals. He also states that due to its failures, the imperial power has decided to be more hostile against the island.
